Previous experience and qualifications: Previously Melissa was the Compliance Officer for the Texel Group, providing practical compliance and regulatory advice for the business and its clients, and advising on and implementing Texel’s Brexit strategy. Melissa also was seconded to Herbert Smith Freehills LLP to support the Disputes team on an upcoming trial, as part of her legal training. LLB Law (Hons) and Dip CII.
Expertise: Melissa has since qualified as a solicitor specialising in insurance regulation and general commercial work within the Texel Group including NDAs, SLAs, TOBAs, and service agreements.
